The 10bet app gives you sports betting and casino games under one login, run by a bookmaker licensed here in South Africa rather than an offshore site taking rand. Using the 10bet app

10bet say the full casino lobby is on the app for iPhone, Android and AppGallery, and their app page says the app loads faster than the mobile site, sends push notifications and carries some offers found only on the app.

The first screen shows the 10bet logo, a gift icon, Log in and a green Join now button, then a banner carousel led by the welcome bonus, then round shortcuts for Live Bet, Soccer, Racing, Cricket, Rugby and Basketball, and then the 10bet Exclusives row of games. A bar fixed to the bottom of the screen carries six tabs, Casino, Live Dealer, Aviator, Promos, Numbers and Sports, so each part of the app is one tap away. On the racing pages that bar switches to Sports, Racing, Live now, My Bets, All Sports and Casino.

To find a game, tap Casino and either use the search button at the top left or scroll the category tabs and the strip of studio logos. If the app will not open or update, you can log in to the same account on 10bet.co.za in your phone browser, because 10bet’s help pages say your account works on the website or the app.

The 10bet app on Google Play is not the South African app

The app called 10bet on Google Play is rated 18+ and described as an app for sports betting and casino, which makes it easy to mistake for the South African one.

That listing is published by Blue Star Planet Limited, a Malta company licensed by the Swedish Gaming Authority under licence number 22Si2218. Its description offers Swedish players bonuses in kronor and gives Stödlinjen, a Swedish helpline, as the place to get help. Google Play shows it with 500+ downloads.

The listing says it is the app for 10bet.se, the site Blue Star Planet runs for Swedish players. For a 10bet.co.za account, you need the South African app.

10bet’s own app page states that the 10bet app is not available on the Google Play Store. 10bet’s home page lists the three routes instead: the App Store for iPhone, AppGallery for Huawei and a direct app file for Android.

So if you are on Android, skip Google Play and get the APK from 10bet.

How to download the 10bet app on Android

10bet give you the app as an APK, which is the installer file Android uses. You download it from their site and open it on your phone, and 10bet say you can be betting within minutes.

Open 10bet.co.za in your phone browser and go to the app download page.
Tap the Android download button. The APK starts downloading.
Open the APK once it finishes, either from the notification bar or from your Downloads folder.
Android will stop the install and warn you that your phone is not allowed to install apps from this source. Tap Settings on that warning.
Turn on the permission for the app you downloaded with. If you downloaded in Chrome, you are giving Chrome permission to install apps this one time.
Go back and tap Install.
Open the app and either log in or register.

10bet’s own written steps tell you to go into Security, then Device Administration, and switch on Allow Unknown Sources. If your phone has no switch by that name, follow the prompt Android shows you when you open the file instead, as in our numbered steps above, and give the permission to the browser or file app you downloaded with.

That permission covers only the app you downloaded with, and once 10bet is installed you can switch it off again in your phone’s settings.

How to get the 10bet app on iPhone

iPhone owners have the easy route. The app is on the South African App Store, so you search for 10bet, tap Get, and it installs like anything else. There are no files to open and no permissions to change.

What you get is a free 21.7 MB download that needs iOS 16 or later. It is in English only, and Apple’s store data gives it a 17+ age rating with a gambling warning, while 10bet’s terms only let you play from 18. The app was first released on the App Store on 11 October 2024, and the current version came out on 10 July 2026.

Its rating is 4.0 from 139 ratings, and the developer shown on the listing is Uni-Tech Holdings (Pty) Ltd, so check for that name before you tap Get.

The 10bet app on Huawei

Huawei phones without Google services get the app from AppGallery, Huawei’s own store. Search AppGallery for 10bet and it comes up as 10bet Sports and Games.

The listing is published by Golden Deers Interactive (Pty) Ltd and names 10bet.co.za as its official website. It is a 60.9 MB download rated 18+, and AppGallery shows it with 986K installs.

To be sure you have the right app, open 10bet’s app download page on your Huawei phone and tap the Huawei button, which takes you straight to this AppGallery listing.

Signing up and getting through FICA

Registration asks for your name, mobile number and ID number, which is the short part.

10bet’s terms list what the full form asks for: your first name, surname, ID or passport number, address, date of birth, mobile number and gender. Your identity is then checked by their service provider, FraudCheck (Pty) Ltd. The FICA documents come next, and their help pages say you may be able to place bets before those documents are approved, but no withdrawal is paid until your ID and proof of address are verified.

Have your South African ID card, front and back, the front of your green ID book or your passport ready, along with proof of address such as a utility bill, clothing account or levy statement, and a bank statement, both dated within the last three months. Upload them in the app under the Account Verification tab, and 10bet say accounts are usually verified as soon as the documents are uploaded. How to deposit into the 10bet app

10bet list more than a dozen ways to pay in. They charge nothing on deposits in rand, while crypto deposits carry a network fee.

The vouchers are the way in if you do not have a bank card, or you do not want betting showing on your bank statement. A R5 voucher bought with cash at a Shoprite till gets you playing.

Crypto is the other standout. 10bet say they became the first South African operator to take crypto deposits, in 2025, and their banking page lists Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Tether next to cards and EFT. Crypto deposits do not count towards the welcome bonus, so make your first deposit in rand if you want it.

Watch one gap. Most methods let you pay in from R10, but the welcome bonus needs a first deposit of R50 or more. Pay in R20 and you get no bonus, and you cannot go back and claim it afterwards.

How to withdraw from the 10bet app

10bet charge nothing to cash out on any method, though your crypto wallet or network still takes its own fee on a crypto withdrawal. The minimums are higher than on the deposit side.

The voucher and cellphone payouts arrive instantly. For bank and card payouts, 10bet quote one hour during real time clearing periods, when banks pass payments between each other straight away, and up to 24 hours otherwise. Their help pages add that withdrawals are usually processed instantly or within 24 hours, not counting Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, so a bank payout asked for at the weekend can wait until the next working day.

walletdoc and PaytoCard both say they process 24/7, which in practice makes them the quicker choice at odd hours.

Note the step up from R10 to pay in and R100 to take out by EFT. If you want a small amount such as R80 back, take it as a 1Voucher or an OTT payout, which both start at R50.

10bet’s terms set some rules before any payout. You must bet a deposit at least once before you can withdraw it, a crypto deposit shown in rand must be fully wagered before it can go out, and winnings are capped at R500,000 in one day. The help FAQ also prints a different minimum table, with R50 by EFT and R300 by Ozow, so check the minimum the cashier shows before you ask for a small payout.

The 10bet sportsbook and live betting

The 10bet story began in 2003, and the brand came to South Africa in 2022. The sports menu lists 36 entries, from Soccer, Cricket, Tennis, Rugby and Basketball down to Darts, MMA, Snooker and Chess, and the About Us page says 10bet cover more than 60 sports with thousands of markets. Local favourites such as the PSL and the Currie Cup sit next to the Premier League, and you can bet before a match or in-play.

When we read the live betting page it listed matches in progress including 12 in soccer, 13 in tennis, 13 in table tennis and 7 in cricket, alongside baseball, ice hockey, handball and esports, and a live soccer match showed its 1X2 prices with 79 more bets on that match. The App Store listing describes a live match tracker with key statistics in the Live Betting section. Cash out lets you settle a bet before the event ends, though 10bet’s FAQ says it is not always available.

The Racing page opens on All Racing with tabs for Resulted, Next Up, Today and Tomorrow, and it showed South African, French and British meetings, Turffontein among them, with play icons for race streams and a floating Watch button. Racing bet types include Pick 6, Jackpot, Place Accumulator, Trifecta and Exacta.

The betting tools sit on the sports promotions page:

Multi bet insurance: on a multi bet of R5 or more with 5 or more selections at odds of 1.50 or more, your stake comes back as a free bet up to R500 if one selection loses, up to 3 times a day.
Boosted odds: Power Picks and Power Boosts with enhanced prices on pre-match and live bets, with a maximum stake of R1,000 on Power Picks.
Social bet feed: follow other players and copy a bet from the feed with its Add to bet slip button.

To place a bet, open a sport, pick the event and tap a price, and it goes on your bet slip. Add more selections for a multi bet, type your stake under the selections and confirm.

The 10bet welcome bonus

New players get a 100% match on their first deposit up to R5,000. Pay in R50 or more, pick the bonus on the deposit screen before you pay, and 10bet match what you put in, with no promo code needed. The bonus money works on sport, horse racing and casino games, live dealer included, so you can split it however you like.

The R5,000 figure is on 10bet’s promotions page, the home page banner and the App Store listing. The text lower down the home page and two other promotion pages on 10bet’s site still describe earlier welcome offers, including a 100% match up to R3,000 and a 150% bonus on a second deposit. Go by the welcome offer card on the promotions page, which opens the current terms.

Check the amount on the deposit screen before you confirm. If the screen offers you less than the page promised, that is the moment to ask support, not after you have paid.

The current welcome terms include no free spins, although the older first deposit page still shows a R15 free bet and 15 free spins on Fortune of Olympus. Free spins also come through the Loyalty Club marketplace, covered below.

The wagering is set out in the welcome bonus terms. You bet your deposit plus the bonus 35 times on casino games, or 6 times on sport and horse racing at odds of 2.00 or more, and you have 30 days to do it. Slots, sport, horse racing and Lucky Numbers count in full, while roulette, blackjack, game shows, poker, dice games, baccarat, crash games, Sic Bo and Bac Bo count at 10%. On a R100 deposit with a R100 bonus, that means R1,200 in sport bets or R7,000 on slots. If you place several bets on the same sports event, only the first one to settle counts.

At the top of the offer, a R5,000 deposit with a R5,000 bonus means R60,000 in sport bets at odds of 2.00 or more, or R350,000 on slots. On roulette or blackjack, where only 10% of each bet counts, even a R100 deposit with a R100 bonus needs R70,000 in bets. While you play with sports bonus money no single bet can be more than R1,000, and while a casino bonus is active a single bet of R150 or more, or of 30% or more of the bonus, counts as irregular play. Your own cash is always used before the bonus, and cashed-out bets do not count towards the wagering.

Worth knowing: asking for a withdrawal before you finish the wagering removes the bonus and anything you have won with it.

10bet’s promotions pages listed these ongoing offers when we read them in September 2026:

Soccer cashback: 10% of your net soccer losses back, up to R5,000, paid the following Saturday, with the smallest payout R50 on a R500 net loss. Bet Builder, cashed-out and free bets do not count. A net soccer loss of R1,500 in a week returns R150.
Games cashback: 10% up to R1,000 every Monday on Games and Live Dealer bets placed from Friday to Sunday that left you with a negative balance, when you opt in and deposit during the week, with 20 times rollover on the bonus.
Rugby free bet: 25% of your stake back as a free bet up to R500 a week when you bet R10 or more on rugby at odds of 1.80 or more.
Cricket reload: a 30% bonus up to R1,000 once a week, wagered 5 times on cricket at odds of 2.00 or more.
Horse racing: a 15% bonus up to R1,000 once a week when you deposit R100 or more, wagered 5 times at odds of 2.00, and a Mystery Box worth up to R1,000 once you have bet R100 in total at odds of 1.80 or more.

The 10bet casino lobby: slots, studios and crash games

The casino shares your account and balance with the sportsbook. Below the lobby’s category tabs for All, 10bet Exclusives and Player Favourite’s, a strip of studio logos shows how many of each studio’s games 10bet carry. When we looked in September 2026 that strip listed 32 studios whose counts add up to 2,466 games, while 10bet’s lobby text says 1,000+ games and its crypto page says over 2,000. The biggest counts were Pragmatic Play with 393, Red Tiger with 229, Yggdrasil with 209, Spinomenal with 187 and EGT Digital with 182.

Slots come from Pragmatic Play, Red Tiger, BetSoft, NetEnt and many more studios, including Hacksaw, Spinomenal, 3Oaks, No Limit City and Big Time Gaming. One legal point is worth understanding. What 10bet hold is a bookmaker licence, and their footer says every product, casino games included, is a fixed-odds bet offered by a licensed bookmaker, so the spin plays the same and the payouts work the same. In October 2025 the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator said that bookmakers it licenses may take bets on any lawful contingency, after the Supreme Court of Appeal found fixed-odds bets on roulette unlawful under Gauteng’s own gambling act, and it said that ruling does not change what Mpumalanga licensees offer. Casino wagering is 35 times deposit plus bonus. Sport clears at 6 times, so the welcome bonus is far quicker to clear on sport than on slots.
Table and crash games clear the bonus slowly. Roulette, blackjack, game shows and crash games count 10% towards the wagering.
Crypto deposits do not count for the welcome bonus. Your first deposit has to be in rand to claim it.

10bet is a sports bookmaker licensed in Mpumalanga with a casino of 32 studios attached, on apps for Android, iPhone and Huawei. The payment list is the main reason to pick it, with R5 cash vouchers, Capitec Pay and four cryptocurrencies, and one welcome bonus of up to R5,000 covers sport and casino.

What holds it back is the casino wagering, at 35 times deposit plus bonus against 6 times on sport, and bank payouts that start at R100 and can wait over a weekend.

Is the 10bet app safe and legal in South Africa

Yes, on both counts. 10bet operates as Edcobrite (Pty) Ltd under a licence from the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator, licence reference 9-2-1-09661, which appears in the App Store listing. That is a real South African gambling licence issued by a provincial regulator, and it means there is a body you can complain to if something goes wrong.

The certificate linked from 10bet’s footer names Edcobrite (Pty) Ltd trading as 10BET, gives the approved web address as www.10Bet.co.za, and was issued on 1 October 2025. The regulator advises checking that a betting site’s address matches the one on its certificate, and you can confirm this one by sending an SMS reading Verify 9673159509 to 30503.

10bet’s app page says the app uses the same SSL encryption as the desktop site, and the About Us page gives it as 256-bit, with games run on certified random number generators. Your ID and proof of address must be verified before any withdrawal is paid, and the responsible gambling tools are set out below.

You must be 18 or older. 10bet are the official betting partner of Bafana Bafana, principal partner of Lamontville Golden Arrows and naming rights partner of 10bet Ellis Park, and their ambassadors include Minnie Dlamini, Doctor Khumalo and Adam Marcus.

The one real safety question is the Android file. Downloading an installer outside Google Play is normally something to be wary of, and for 10bet on Android it is the only route the operator offers. Protect yourself by taking the file from 10bet.co.za and nowhere else. Sites offering a 10bet APK from their own servers may be handing you something modified, and there is never a reason to use one.

10bet customer support

Live chat runs 24/7, with a bot answering first and a person taking over when needed, and 10bet give its average response time as 2 minutes. Deposit limits: daily, weekly or monthly, set through customer support. Lowering a limit takes effect straight away and raising it takes 24 hours.
